RUDEBOY REUNION ON SATURDAY!! You heard me right! Someone convinced them to come out of their caves and do a show. They're also releasing their last album. Apparently they're putting the CD's in personally crafted and enviromentally friendly cardboard cases they've put together by themselves. The show is at Irene's Pub. I don't know anything, but I'd suggest calling Irene's for info 613-230-4474. I'm going to call myself tomorrow, but I won't remember to come on here to post..

You do NOT want to miss this show! You'll regret it for the rest of your life! Rudeboy is/was one of Ottawa's best ska bands!

Hey! We're working on getting this thing updated. Check back soon... Real soon.

November 29, 2007

So apparently there's a rumour going around that skattawa.com is dead and has given up on the Ottawa ska scene? Well I don't know where you heard that mumbo jumbo because we are far from being dead! In fact we are alive and better than ever! I (Jeff) will never give up! (as they say; giving up is for losers!).

So to properly welcome you to the new website: Welcome! The site is now more visually pleasing and will have lot's more content. I will also make sure to frequently update it so you have all the latest info on upcoming shows and other things happening in the world of Ottawa ska. There will be more interviews with bands and other interactive stuff such as Band of the Month.

Before I end this brief news update, I want to thank John Meloche for the lovely design and work on the website. He did an awesome job! You can find nude pictures of John as well as tunes from his punk rock band at www.myspace.com/thisisastandoff.

For now, I want to thank everyone for checking out the website!
